Email Marketing
Been through the good, the bad and the ugly of
email marketing over the last 5 years, with campaigns totalling many
millions of emails. Text only, HTML, multipart, forms, personalization, etc.
Well informed on the law, and more
importantly, the changing climate for email marketers. I've witnessed the patterns of
attrition rates and open rates, and all the hidden costs underlying what is
seen as a cheap marketing medium - emphasizing the need to use it with care.
Nevertheless, it remains a valuable part of
a sound CRM strategy.
